My oldest son broke his femur skateboarding last year; he was 24. The first thing I said to him after his surgery was, “Bill, you’re too old for skateboarding!” “I know!” he moaned. (Miracles of modern medicine: he’s running marathons again only a year later.)
I miss my father a lot. His birthday is only a few days away. That’s why I’m so annoyed at the late Mr. Cash.

I’m with you. Once you have kids, GROW UP, or don’t bother having them. Similar, although not quite as much, if you have a wife, or living parents, or siblings, depending on how close. My parents told me to NEVER rent a car in a country like the UK, where they drive on the wrong side of the road - two of their close friends are dead due to that. I can wait - and find other options in the mean time.
