..5h..A French military band gives Presidents Trump and Macron a salute as they and the First Ladies arrive at the Prefecture of Calvados in Caen, France. The leaders will hold of round of talks and have a working lunch.

.5h..At start of meeting in Caen with Pres Macron, @POTUS conceded that sometimes their relationship has not been so good, "but right now it's outstanding." He says they don't disagree on Iran. They both want to ensure that Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons.

Asked about their animated conversation at the American Cemetery earlier, Pres Trump said they were discussing the D-Day invasion and how 92% of soldiers in the 1st wave ashore were killed. And it wasn't until the 6th wave that the troops got a foothold to take on Nazi forces.

Asked about the outlook in the UK for Brexit, Pres Trump said he thinks "it will all work out." But first, he said a new Prime Minister has to be chosen and take charge. He again lavished praise on The Queen, "who I think is an incredible lady," he said.

Asked about imposing additional tariffs on China, Pres Trump said he'll make that decision after the G20 Summit in Osaka at month's end. He said he'll be meeting with Chinese Pres Xi "and we’ll see what happens,"

.3h..Pres gives press pool a thumbs up as he and the First Lady board Air Force One at Caen-Carpiquet Airport to depart France and return to Ireland.

..2h..A C-32A/757 serving as Air Force One today. It taxis into position after landing back at Shannon, Ireland after flight from Caen, France.

.2h..Pres and Mrs Trump step off Air Force One in Shannon, Ireland, and walk the short distance to board Marine One, for the flight to the Trump Golf Resort in Doonbeg, Ireland, where they'll again spend the night.

.2h..As Marine One taxis for takeoff, the VC-25/747 that most often serves as Air Force One can be seen in the distance. It will be used to fly the President back to DC at some point tomorrow, probably after a round of golf at his eponymous links.

Marine One and accompanying staff helicopters (Nighthawks), are wheels up from Shannon to Doonbeg, Ireland.

Is Mrs. Macron mad at Mr. Macron? I notice in all of the pictures I have seen except one she is standing quite a ways away from him.
