The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 49% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove.
Voters here strongly criticize Mexico’s efforts to stop illegal immigration and drug trafficking and like President Trump’s idea of using tariffs to get the Mexicans to toughen up.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 46% of Likely U.S. Voters favor the use of U.S. tariffs on Mexican goods to force Mexico to strengthen its efforts to stop illegal immigration and illegal drugs from entering this country. Forty percent (40%) oppose the president’s tariff strategy, while 14% are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
