It was absolutely beautiful Jane.
I have gone to Colorado for years and this is the greenest, I have ever seen it.
Kids have a house that overlooks the valley, Pike’s Peak and The Air Force Academy, beautiful day and night.
Maybe once or twice during summer it gets over 100 It’s not the heat but the humidity that is unbearable here. That’s why I like to head north or northeast during August.
At one time it was discussed that freepers who enjoyed traveling could go coast to coast staying at FRiends houses for a night and have a very enjoyable trip.

Nearly 350,000 ground troops from 20 nations in the Middle East, Africa and Asia, including the UAE, took part in the last day of the so-called “Northern Thunder” manoeuvres. The exercises, which took place in the desert near to the Kuwaiti and Iraq borders, began 12 days ago.
“One victory is not enough to defeat and root out terrorism because it would be temporary, whereas superiority lasts forever and that is what we plan to do as leaders in the UAE, to achieve superiority on many levels and in all fields of military, developmental, humanitarian, political and economic.”
“Northern Thunder” is also taking place after tensions escalated between Saudi Arabia and Iran, who back opposing sides in Syria and Yemen.
Authorities have released few details of the extent of the exercises, but Brig Gen Al Assiri said they were aimed at preparing to tackle the region’s “terrorist menace” and were not directed against Iran.
The drills included troops from all six GCC countries, as well as Egypt, Pakistan, Turkey, Malaysia, Jordan, Sudan, Chad, Comoros, Djibouti, Maldives, Mauritania, Morocco, Senegal, and Tunisia.............Edited........

The article shows the chaos in Sudan, BUT.
Things are not as they seem. The press is blaming the government for everything, but the government was giving in to the protestors’ demands.
Anyone can wear uniforms. And units can fracture.
It’s not accurate to say, “The RSF did this.”
Was it the RSF or PART of the RSF or men wearing RSF uniforms?
We don’t know.
However, I have full faith in the Sudanese to work this out.

I’m amazed at how some reporters & political aides blow off the national anthem at campaign events. Just now, a Sanders aide wearing his hat during it, Warren aides sitting on the floor, a guy with a Corey Booker staff credential lying on the floor. A dozen reporters in chairs.

That’s why you should ALWAYS wear a life jacket, no matter how ‘comfortable’ you are on your/a boat.
We’re all guilty of not wanting to wear that life jacket, but you never know what could happen.....out in the bay, gulf/ocean, or on a lake.
