Wasn’t going to see it anyway. I was a fan of Elton’s in the 70’s when he did his best work. Haven’t cared for anything of his since, and I lost interest entirely when he became a poster boy for gay.
And yet...Hollyweird just can't help themselves. They have to make it all about the fags. Screw the music...Advance The Agenda!

I have been following this story.
He wanted it in. It’s brief. It will cost them money because it is rated R now but he felt it was important to be in the movie.

Elton being gay isn’t going to turn me off from seeing the movie.

Two guys kissing is absolutely repulsive. I started watching Downton Abbey, Season 1, Episode 1. As soon as I got to the scene where two guys were kissing, I turned it off and don’t plan to go back. Blech!
Sis and I discussed going, because the story should be interesting. Then I read a review which said there are “frank depictions of gay sex”.
Uh uh. No way. Not goin’.

I really wanted to see this film, really loving Elton John’s music.
But what point does this even serve? Did he really feel the need to green-light this?

I like Elton John’s music. I was going to watch movie. I don’t like to watch homo sex or men kissing. I won’t be going to watch this movie.
Madden is looking every inch the next James Bond in everything to do with the promotion in this film. He is purposefully evoking the questions with his look but then playing it down when asked about it by every reporter.
Every reporter seemed to focusing on Bohemian Rhapsody and James Bond when talking to stars of a completely different film.
By that time, Richard Madden will be over and some new thing will have come along.
But in the mean time..it does get him press and might help him get another gig.
