CNN)Last week, Alabama passed the most restrictive abortion law in the country. In addition to banning nearly all abortions except in cases where the pregnancy poses a serious health risk to the mother, doctors who perform the procedure can be convicted of a felony and jailed for life.
The law has yet to go into effect, and politicians have explicitly stated their desire for legal challenges to make it up to the Supreme Court as part of a long-standing effort to overturn Roe v. Wade. And given the bench's conservative slant after Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh's confirmations under President Donald Trump, that may be a real possibility.
Where does Trump stand on abortion? After years of saying he was pro-choice, Trump changed his tune when he decided to run for President. It's useful to revisit a long-forgotten town hall from March 2016, when then-candidate Trump told MSNBC's Chris Matthews he was pro-life. When pressed on what the law should be, Trump said, "The answer is that there has to be some form of punishment." Matthews tried to clarify, saying, "For the woman," to which Trump responded, "Yeah, there has to be some form."
Days later, Trump tried to walk back his comments in an interview with New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, saying he was answering Matthews' questions hypothetically. She wrote, "Given his draconian comment, sending women back to back alleys, I had to ask: When he was a swinging bachelor in Manhattan, was he ever involved with anyone who had an abortion?" Trump's response? "Such an interesting question. So what's your next question?"

I wouldn’t like to see that. BUT maybe some kind of “choice” on parenthood would make the point. If she is pregnant, maybe a male should have the right to say he is not interested in being a parent, so he hereby relinquishes all rights and responsibilities. No money, no visits, no nothing.
When the pro-aborts scream and freak out, just tell them it’s only making parenthood elective for men just as it is for women. Women have a choice. The pro-aborts are supposed to be “pro-choice”, right?
Sorry, I knew what I meant to say.
It was SEVEN MEN who created this abomination in our country! Fortunately all of the men were not “white” men to carry on with the racist talking point of evil white men. So let me get this straight men have “no right” to make decisions over women’s bodies... except when they agree with the pro-abortion stance!!
Pro-life people need to look the abortionists in their evil eyes and tell them they are nothing but lying, murdering traitors who should be tried for crimes against humanity and supporting the demographic destruction of the U.S.
Only pussies like Lockhart believe that.
That is our instinctive response — protect the weak. That is what we do as males.
All those oh so progressive pro abortion people at CNN,MSNBC, NBC,ABC,CBS, WaPo, and NYT should be asked if they have ever actually witnessed an abortion at each stage of pregnancy. In fact a field trip observing their friends at Planned Parenthood doing what they do should be organized for each of them . Guarantee the smugness, snarly comments and the pomposity would stop.
The only “questions” will be from radical feminists and other women who support the Black Holocaust and infanticide. Women who protect life will not “ask men questions” - they will support the anti-abortion positions and trends.
Hopefully they will answer “Scripturally”. . . you can’t misstep with that!!!!
Obviously a major 2020 talking point will be baby killing and why anyone would be against it.
We always hear about “abortion rights” but nobody on the left wants to talk about “abortion responsibilities”. They go hand-in-hand. The leftist celebrities who are proudly proclaiming their abortions are responsible for the deaths of their innocent children.
Let women who have had abortions and were injured by it or who bitterly regretted it --- and there must be at least a million of them ----sue the abortionists into the ground.
You would expect this kind of crap from CNN. CNN is not a news station but a propaganda generater for the liberals. Male politicians will get questions from the remaining baby-killing Ghouls who are trying desperately to hang on to Roe vs Wade. They know it is going down. They know it and are scared to death that they may get pregnant and will have to carry it full term and then deal with it.
Mother Teresa's declaration may be the most powerful statement in 2016 from which to begin discussions of murder, ambushes, and terrorists among us.
The sole reason these rights were deemed unalienable is that both are derived from the Creator--not from the mother or father, and not from government or judicial decision. What is "granted" by human decision also can, by implication, be withheld.
"The God who gave us life, gave us liberty at the same time: the hand of force may destroy, but cannot disjoin them (life and liberty)," said Thomas Jefferson.
"The world is different now. . . and yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forefathers fought are still at issue around the globe--the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God." - John F. Kennedy, Inaugural Address
That understanding underlies every other consideration embodied in our Declaration of Independence and every protection of our Constitution. It is the very basis of our rights to life and liberty, of laws to protect them, and it distinguishes ours from other forms of government.
When we fail to acknowledge that foundation of our liberty, then we risk liberty itself for future generations, for where does the right to choose who lives and who does not really end?
That is why the question is of vital importance in each election. Already, we have deprived millions of their Creator-endowed rights to life and liberty, and our nation must be weaker for their loss. We need leaders who understand the implications and potential consequences of departing from our founding principles.
In recent decades, technological advances have enabled us to observe the characteristics and actions of God's tiniest creations in the womb. Unlike previous generations who could not see, we have no excuse for imagining that these are mere blobs of tissue labeled "fetuses." In their early weeks, we now can see that they are living babies who will continue on to possess life and liberty if we do not "destroy" both. Indeed, they are simply smaller versions of ourselves.
Questions on the economy, taxes, threats from terrorists, health care--all are considerations at this election time. One, however, is basic to all others for me. Who will best protect the underlying premise of our Constitution--and the lives and liberties of millions yet unborn?
Promises are illusive and cheap. This voter will examine each candidate's previous voting record carefully on all issues, because past actions are the best predictors of future decisions.
If I were a politician, I would note that my mother, wife, and daughter are at least as opposed to abortion as I am and I’m a hardcore opponent.
“Real men protect babies even unborn ones.”
And REAL men can handle the politically immoral without much *discomfort* at all.
So says this real and authentically feminine woman! ;- )
I doubt it.

Male politicians who oppose abortion rights are going to face some snarly in-your-face radical feminist rent-a-mob hecklers.
There. Fixed it.
