Restoration Blog: 1966 Ford Galaxie, Ultimate Edition.
Finally! It may be the third time Jays said this, but yes, the Galaxie restoration is finally complete!
Hit the road with Jay as he tells you how this model became the stuff of his 16-year-old dreams, and how hes improved on a gorgeous classic.

But they didn't last. Keep the fluids fresh in most new cars and they're good for +200K miles.
65 Galaxie is to me a much prettier body style.
Did you mean '64?
Because '65 and '66 were basically the same.

IMO, nothing of that era tops the 65-67 GTO.
1965 Pontiac GTO
1966
1967
No, I meant 65 and 66. To me, there is a big difference in the bodies, bout like the difference in chevys, 62, 63 and 64.
The 65 has straight lines, where the 66 is rounded, bowed up looking to me. HOWEVER, in these pictures, that 66 looks better than in person. Somehow, it IS remarkably similar looking to a GTO!
Sorry, but I don't see anything near a 'big difference' between the '65 and '66 Ford Galaxie...
