Stan Friedman had been in declining health for some time. He was a dedicated and serious-minded researcher with a Ph.D. in physics in a field given to more than its share of craziness. He will be missed.
I took him more in the vein of Dr. Hynek and hard science on the UFO issue than anything. Trying to explain an event through logical means but following where the evidence led even if it was not accepted by the scientific community.
