Of course it is! It is all about CONTROL!
Once the IC engine vehicles are done away with, they will eventually go after the E-vehicles. Why? They will suddenly DISCOVER how much energy and pollution is created to produce these vehicles. (Of course, all this will happen when technology has made the e-vehicles almost as easy to use as vehicles using IC engines.)
The next step would then be to make bicycles illegal. CONTROL the proles and don’t allow them ANY freedom. Fill their brains with garbage (ie: CBC, CTV, Global, NBC, CBS, ABC, HOLLYWIERD, etc.) to dumb them down. Get ‘em addicted to schlocky pablum and brainwash ‘em. THAT is the plan.
Several decades ago, we met an old-timer, probably 80 or so, in a Vermont crossroads country store. He said he had never travelled more than 50 miles from his birthplace in his entire life.
THAT is what they want for all of us.
