“Paying attention” is not synonymous with agreeing with a mystery of what is “Disinformation” and what is not.

In Sessions case, Trump was grateful and indebted to Sessions early support. That’s a fact. Trump was gifted by Sessions with Steven Miller as a WH staffer. (Trump probably recognized Miller straight away as a genius type, who has evidently never disappointed him.) But, he did not know if Sessions was a genius who could Charlie Fox Trot over a Federal Department, but only that Sessions kept his head down, performed with excellence as one senator among many, (again, no small thanks to Miller, I think).

So, we saw Trump was in a political box against universal enemies, foreign and domestic, certainly the Media Complex and the Democrats UniParty RINOs on the Hill when Sessions set off the fireworks.

RINOs fairly and publicly salivated, for the POTUS to dare fire Sessions.

So Sessions didn’t work out... at all. BUT, lemons and lemonade.. / The Plan..

IMHO, Trump was angered, but forced politically to keep Sessions, so he did. Perhaps this also pleased Trump’s base, most of us who admired Sessions and defended him. Until the recusal..

I could never believe there was any point for Trump to “play act”, pretend in personal destruction against Sessions just to validate The Plan or for The Plan to work well, and sail right along.

Trump declined the Sessions offer and dodges Congressional promised incoming salvos. And, because he did, the congressional forces settled right down, were made more comfortable on that particular front. Problem solved.

Their nasty fire power was avoided and redirected to some other of their more innocuous complaints. (The Plan.)

Trump was allowed to be mad as hell though. He fairly destroyed Sessions with the base and, eventually, even many congressman finally came around to openly defend Trump’s disappointment with Jeff, acknowledging the obvious fine Fix he had caused against a new president’s kick off and Agenda. These Trump allies on the Hill and conservative media are still complaining, thankful he’s gone and grateful that a muscular Attorney General is in place.

Further, what purpose would be served, at this date, for Sessions to remain un-redeemed, by now, if he were ever a Shadow Hero, or Central to The Plan? He’s gone. The Plan is not. The Plan is in motion and right on time. Not a bone has yet been tossed to Jeff Sessions, not even a remote whisper of a single redeeming remark, anywhere, from anyone. Why not, by now? He’s long gone, after all. Barr is the Ball Mover at this point.

Why delay redeeming Sessions, at this point, if he mattered at all, past the position that he wanted, asked for and received? I think Sessions didn’t matter, past being a set back to an undisclosed calendar of events for Swamp draining.

It’s the Scope of corruption that matters to The Plan, one continent at a time.

Jeff Sessions plowed the ground, planted the seeds, and watered the crop.
Whitaker pulled weeds.
Barr will reap the harvest.
All are necessary.
Sessions couldn’t be the one to harvest because, as part of the campaign, he was a victim of the crimes that (they) will be convicted of.

Except that the DOJ under Mr. Magoo/Granny from Beverly Hillbillies/Keebler Elf, played merry hell with MS-13 *and* with kitty pr0n /trafficking rings. Both of which were important to the Swamp...even if Sessions didn’t publicly trace the links back.

Sessions “retirement party” was a redemption of sorts, he was honored. His role is not complete.

Maybe POTUS just liked Sessions’ staff. He also poached Sessions’ COS...Mathew Whitaker.
I wonder who else he poached ?

I disagree that Sessions was a disappointment to Trump or that Trump was surprised by Sessions’ recusal.

The fact that Sessions has not yet been publicly redeemed is no doubt part of the overall plan, and many others are not yet publicly redeemed; most notably Gen. Flynn.

Additionally, how much of The Plan is not public? How many people exactly have been under investigation, how many grand juries empanelled, and so on?

Keep in mind also that Trump, among his other abilities, is an actor. Remember the wrestling stuff he used to be involved with. He can put on a very convincing act.
