There is something else going on here with the cheating scandal.

Who would pay MILLIONS to get their kid into a college? Tens of thousands .... I could understand. MAYBE even $100,000. But $6.5 MILLION???? That strains credibility.

My new theory: There is some sort of money laundering going on here. Or bribery other than admissions. I’m thinking this story was allowed to break because they are going to try to cover up some far more serious financial shenanigans with it. They are going to pretend whatever is really going on here was just some guy trying to get his kid into college.

Not buying it.
