Did anybody see the most recent episode of the documentary series 1969, on ABC? I started watching it and this one is labelled The Girl in the Car.

Whenever some media program is called anything like the 60s I fully expect a self-congratulatory hippie love-fest.

If I remember correctly, Mary Jos father made a statement to that fact.

I like Cokie. The series didn’t let Teddy off the hook, though.
The Manson episode was good, too. I didn’t remember Manson running with the Beach Boys.

Yeah, it was like the guy who said he had “lost a child to abortion.” I thought it was as wacky as if the Menendez brothers said they lost tjeir parents to murder.

The only thing good about 69 was the moon landing.
And my birth!

I remember those days. Don’t wish to relive them again. I’ve had better years to remember.

I didnt realize it was a series until the recent one. So I missed the Manson episode. That would have interested me.

The only thing good about 69 was the moon landing. And Jimmy Jones' 32-yard pass to Sam Dickerson that powered USC over UCLA 14-12 and landed the Trojans in the Rose Bowl.

That’s classic. The so-called “news” media is an obscenity.

I remember a couple of good things from June 1969:
1) Johnny Cash’s TV show premiered on Saturday, June 7 — a great, classic show with every country star - and a lot of pop legends - as guests during its two-year run ;
2) True Grit (John Wayne) was released on June 11. I saw it several times over the summer.

Also the show clearly pointed out that Teddy got away with murder and many of the people involved are still really angry about the corruption of justice.
And how many decades did it take the leftist media propaganda machine to come to this conclusion? We knew that at the time it happened.
The left will sometimes tell the truth after the time passes when the truth can do them harm.
