On to the next thing
Drogon (or whatever the last dragons name is) was crouching behind the Army at the gates of Kings Landing. It was there.
I think (Jons dragon) is done for good. But never say never where fantasy is concerned, I suppose.
Well played, Sansa. You knew a head-strong Queen would not do anything (wise or not) that you might suggest.
Hey...HEY!!! Id like my sword back, please!
Wot... This? I found it on the field. Spoils of war an all that.
Jon! Danearys! Tell that guy its mine!
Give him back his sword.

Seriously? No way! I see it but I dont believe it! :-D
LOL!!! Its true!!!
LOL
LOLOL
It’s probably going to play a shockingly pivotal role in the final episodes.
:D
GRRM has previously said that immunity to fire is specific to Dany — it’s not a Targaryen trait.
Dany also has green eyes. They made a point of showing that last night. Makes me wonder who the prophecy is actually for. They seem to be leaning towards Dany going scorched earth like her family before her.
Cersei has had other opportunities to kill Tyrion and held back. I suspect familial ties override the ruthless side.
Dany is a Queen, not a master logician or warrior, and now has maternal fear for her remaining dragon. But the murder of Missandre (sp) was the last straw for Dany; you could tell when she walked away that she is hell bent now to have her revenge. She won’t be listening to council now. She may be the Mad Queen after all. She tried Targaryan diplomacy. Now all bets are off.
I think a night attack on Euron’s ships by the dragon from the rear might have been possible. Drogon could have fried most of the fleet while they scrambled.
A night attack by dragon on the Red Keep could do a lot of damage. Something tells me the writers (D&D) won’t go that route, though.
Mormont died in Dany’s arms after or soon before the battle was over. Since she is a Queen one would assume she would have people take Jorah away and prepare him for the funeral. It wasn’t like he was left on the field of battle for people to pick over his remains looking for goodies to plunder. The sword was a symbol of Sam’s family’s rule and was in a place of honor at his house before he stole it. Since he appears to be going back it would make sense for him to have it.
As for Lady Lyanna, I still don’t know why she didn’t turn to dust with the rest of the Night King’s army. It clearly showed her being reanimated. Dolorous Edd was another one that should have been dusted. Poetic license on the writer’s part I guess.
And...there it is.
Oh, I definitely made the comment “she’s going crazy like her dad” during last Sunday’s episode. Haha.
My understanding is that the wights don’t turn to ice dust - that only happens to th Night King and his White Walker generals. The wights just kind of fall down when their controller is killed.
When will Fonzi be jumping the shark? I mean lets make it official. He can do it in black water bay. Drogon can tow him.
My prediction: Jon gets all lets spare the people of Kings Landing and negotiate (counter to Danys orders). He goes into KL and gets the Ned treatment or worse. The Army overwhelms the Gold Company or is lured into KL by them and Cersi ignites the City to kill the Army, including her own people.
Cut to smirking Cersi who Jamie (returned to KL) has had enough of.
He gives her the Mad King treatment choking her to death. Meanwhile, Dany goes mad queen and burns the red keep.
Sprinkle in some Cleganebowl as Arya and the Hound sneak into KL through the ways Arya discovered in Season 1. Arya could care the less and leaves the Hound to fight. She has other business.
As for two-time useless character of the year/convenient plot vehicle for lazy writing Euron, not sure on this one. But I think Drogon burns the fleet or Yara shows up for some payback. This time it is Eurons fleet that is surprised.
In the end, Mad Dany walks into a burned out throne room with a mad look on her face. Then its game over as Arya offs her ass.
Who sits the iron throne? Nobody as it is decided to never do this again. Each Kingdom rules itself and KL is left as a burned out neo-Harrenhal to remind people what tyrants are like.
Oh, and I am sure that somewhere we get a Varys BBQ.
They fell apart here and the dragon fell apart on Jon but it also looks like others just fall down. Maybe it goes by how fresh the bodies are.
That’s a good explanation as to why they don’t have to deal with 100,000+ dead bodies! LOL!
