“Moo goo gai pan” was a classic. I always thought the final episode of Newhart was one of the best ever.

“Reverend Jim: A Space Odyssey” should have been in the top ten. Reverend Jim’s driving test just might be the funniest five minutes in television history.

Lucy....The Chocolate assembly line episode.

That scene is hilarious. I would also add the one where Lucy is stomping on grapes.

"IIRC, the parking garage episode was probably included because it was cited by the cast members as the one that made the show about "nothing" and gave them the courage to do entire episodes about waiting in line at a restaurant, etc."

Seinfeld to restaurant owner: "Excuse me, sir, but I think we were here before that man you just seated."

Owner: "Oh, no, that was Mr. Williams - he ALWAYS here. Very nice man - live on Park Avenue!"

I'm glad they included an episode from my favorite 60's sit-com, "Get Smart," but they failed to include my favorite episode, "The Man from YENTA."

I vaguely remember an episode where I think the Chief was going to be laid off because of budget cuts, so they started a fundraiser for him, with a tally board set up in the office, like at a telethon. I think after the first day they’d only raised about $3.50.

The Groovy Guru doesn’t come close to any of “the Craw” episodes.

The phone police...if he only knew

Yeah, I had a run in with the phone police years ago. They were unquestionably real!

It’s hard to nail down a favorite Seinfeld. I do like The Handicap Spot slightly more than The Parking Garage (though I was concerned for the fish). I kind of lean toward The Strike (Festivus) or The Slicer (replacing Kruger’s photo). Any episode with Lloyd Braun is good. The Barber was a great one (”You’re not Penske material!”)

As for the Turkey Drop, the appliance store owner where the turkey drop was conducted was none other than Mr. Penske himself, of the Penske file.

Was Benny’s salesman guy the model for the department store floor walker who makes occasional appearances on “The Simpsons”? He speaks with an exaggeratedly snooty accent. Homer once asked him, “Why do you talk like that?” “I had a stroke,” was his plummy response.
