I watched the full hearing which turned my stomach. I must say you did a great job of getting the information out for all. I wish I had skipped watching and read your notes. I actually had nightmares about the smirks and tone of voice used by the Dems. I keep thinking how did we let America get to this point.

Thanks for your kind words. I can understand about the nightmares.

How did we let it get here? As I write this, I’m watching the Trump prayer breakfast speech. I’m guessing it happened when we let them take away our prayer in schools and in public discourse and culture. God has been so gracious to us to allow us this reprieve of this magnificent champion and President. But we never would have had the reprieve without a core of steadfast Believers and lovers of freedom.

We must keep the Flame burning.

“I keep thinking how did we let America get to this point.”

++++++++++++++++

I’m sure you have some ideas. Some of mine are that first, we allowed God to become unimportant in many public places, like schools, ball games, governments, etc. Our education system has been majorly dumbed down. Even our churches have been watered down. It makes me very sad that we have a couple of generations that have no idea how wonderful the old hymns are and the stories behind them. Instead they sing theology absent, repetitive Jesus is my boyfriend songs. My apologies to those who like them.. see what I felt like I had to do? Apologize for my opinion on what I find empty? This is what we feel we have to do! Because as Christians, we tend to be nice people and move out of the way. We scoffed at Madalyn Murray O’Hair, then we woke up one day and said.. “Oh wow, she was successful in getting God removed from public!” And while she’s on my bad list, Ann Coulter was right, the left is Godless!! (and crazy and evil on so many levels). They have become loud Godless voices who have infected our schools. So now we have these millennials who can barely speak to other humans, much less look up from their phones, and are soooooo accepting of everyone (other than Christians and Jews even). I went to a funeral a couple of years ago and the pastor, if you will, literally raised her arms and said.. “Pray to whomever is your higher being.” And I thought..”we are in a church.” Then I whispered to my husband.. “what if Bozo the Clown is your higher being?” To which he started laughing. You have the parents of these millenials.. who are Godless, who have allowed the schools to infect their children with their poison thoughts. And then these children have to take classes on adulting and logical thinking classes (haha, I can’t remember the name of those classes). That’s how we’ve come to this point IMHO.
