The coming Ice Age is coming whether Algore’s global warming exists or not!
Truth is we never really left the last one. We are as least as far as currently be determined in the Quaternary Geologic time period. A time of cyclic transcontinental glaciations. We have been in a 20 some thousand year warming lull with some cold bumps like the “The Little Ice Age (roughly 1350 - 1850)”. That will change someday. We currently seem to be entering another cooler period. Let’s hope its not like the “The Little Ice Age”, that was bad! Hard on food production anything more, well cold kills warmth means green things grow! Let’s hope we are not entering something where we will wish CO2 did all those nasty things! However someday it will be bad again! All of this is independent of anything we do or are likely to do environment-wise!

Would a new Little Ice Age be as bad as the last one? Wouldn’t we just move food production a little farther south. The problem last time was people in the 1600s weren’t able to move farm production from Germany to Italy or Pennsylvania to South Carolina. Now, we should be able to respond more quickly to changed conditions. Or are soil differences an issue?
