Would a new Little Ice Age be as bad as the last one? Wouldn’t we just move food production a little farther south. The problem last time was people in the 1600s weren’t able to move farm production from Germany to Italy or Pennsylvania to South Carolina. Now, we should be able to respond more quickly to changed conditions. Or are soil differences an issue?
