We all get old. Took my 70 year old carcass and my 15 year old dog out for walk this morning. We don't go near as far as we used to and we stay on the groomed trails. I've jumped out of a helicopter into a firefight, raced motorcycles in the desert, ridden a chopper across America, sailed across the Pacific and more... when I was young.
Nowadays, a walk to the Post Office is sometimes about as much risk as I can tolerate. I can easily see an old soldier of 71 dying in a lawnmower accident.
