My wife and I will be married 55 years in June. Yeah, we were pretty young, but everybody got married really young then. Still in reasonably good health thankfully BUT

We live in a 2 story house which we bought brand new some 20 yrs ago. Seemed like a good idea at the time

I said to my wife the other day "Wanna go upstairs and mess around". She gave me that look and then like only women can do yelled-- "Are you some kind of idiot!! Don't you realize we can only do one of those things!!

Married 44 years, also very young then, also in a 2 story. My dad, still living, told us when we were building this house that we might want to consider not having all the bedrooms upstairs. We were in our 30’s then and thought that was silly. Always listen when your elders speak, is now my motto. Thankfully still have both parents, pushing 90.

Haha! I can see why you two made it 55 years together. Congrats and admiration from a house on a slab.

My lame dog and myself have grown to appreciate it, and my wife likes it too! :)
