Troubled that he said elections are more safe...to this point, they are not. I’m pulling with you LJ on the white hat side because it would be so advantageous to have him on our side, derping the derps. But as many have said...TBD.
We don’t know what steps the feds and even some states have taken to ensure clean elections, other than what has made it into the news. And quite a bit has gotten into the news.
I assume that a lot of what the feds have done is so far under the radar.
I tend to think they are more safe and quite a bit so.
There's a stealth executioner going about his business with not too much fanfare, and that is Florida governor Ron DeSantis.
When national elections are being done, what is our universal Adelaide's Lament here? It's "Yeah, but, those fargin' counties down in Florida will see to it they find enough vote to "XYZ" and steal it."
Am I right?
DeSantis canned the notorious den of iniquity Broward County election supervisor, Brenda Snipes (friend of HRC), and the almost equally nefarious Susan Butcher, the Palm Beach supervisor. And for the coup de gras, DeSantis suspended the Broward County sheriff, Scott Israel (I see nothing; I know nothing), some time ago. Have things been fixed? Don't know, but certainly you would agree that removal of the above derps was eight steps in the right direction.
As far as I'm concerned I call that "gettin' it done." I was torn that DeSantis, one of the good ones, was leaving congress to go after the FL governorship, but it seems pretty clear to me that DeSantis was a cog in the Q gearbox in making national elections safer by getting FL completely and thoroughly nailed down.
DeSantis seems to be the only politician out there with executive experience that is like Trump who could carry on with what's been started if elected President.
