Slide warning .....

There is a museum in a town near Tuscaloosa which is very much worth visiting, if you are ever in Alabama. During WWII, there was a German POW camp there. A book was written about that chapter in the town’s history called “Guests Behind the Barbed Wire”, by Ruth Beaumont Cook.

The museum has an excellent collection of memorabilia from that time.
