>My husband has interviewed over 30 WWII vets

One of my favorite videos was 16 big name IBMers that I interviewed for a video about an eccentric genius. My VP bragged that the video would have cost 250K on the outside and I did it for 25K. I’m pretty good on interview videos so can give advice on how to get the most out of the least equipment, and how to direct the interview.

The next stage is editing the material for maintaining interest. There’s a couple of different ways to approach it, which I can describe offline if you’re interested. Being at IBM Research, I did it by transcribing all my interview raw materials, writing the best of the quotes on index cards, and crawling around on the studio floor to arrange them. Always preferred the lo-tech solutions.

The video your husband collected would lend itself to a YouTube video, and you’d certainly have viewer interest in the topic, as well as doing an historical good deed to not let these people be forgotten.

That was his goal - some of these gentlemen had never shared their stories before. So far, with the camera recordings, we've copied them back to flash drives and given them back to the veterans or their families.

I will keep your offer in mind - I have to do something with this because it doesn't need to just sit here until our children find it and don't know what it is :-0
