I walked into FR believing that ALL religious people were good. I went to a Catholic high school, and that was my experience. And I voted that way. One year in FR and I have concluded the exact opposite. That is experience, not prejudice. I had not the faintest idea there were so many bigots in the world. Now I need it to have their goodness proved to me before I recognize it. And I now vote AGAINST all religious proclaiming candidates, unless I have other sources that show their goodness. So I’d always vote for Billy Graham’s son, if he ever ran for office. That is a good man. But I refused to vote for a Trump supporting candidate in MA because I knew nothing about him except for his self-proclaiming religiosity. So I have been pilled by FR. Just not the way I expected to be.
And they then proceed to attack (on any grounds possible, even quoting from atheist sources) any such item, it's as though they are compelled.
It would be one thing to agree to disagree with them, but such people appear to need regular shoulder surgery from patting themselves on the back so hard.
About homosexuality...I consider it a grave sin; and a disordered appetite. Akin to someone who sought sexual fulfillment by putting bananas in his ear.
Wrong orifice, for one thing; but the other issue is (as little jeremiah pointed out) too many homosexuals are not content to "live and let live" but loudly demand the right to be placed on a pedestal; which (maybe coincidence, maybe not) provides excellent cover for those who love cheese pizza. Like in the Vatican.
