“Blu - you’re the Bowie soulmate on this thread with me!”

Me too!!

At least I was until Q.

The “put on your red shoes and dance the blues” lyric from Let’s Dance has tarnished my love for his music.

Bowie was definitely in the orbit of cabal stuff. I believe he went back and forth as a young man. He had a moral underpinning from somewhere, and his ‘friends’ latched on and dragged him around for their own interests (Angie?).

Once he had his own name, and could stand on his own without the bad agents and hangers-on, I think he stepped away from that. In other words, he became influential enough that ‘they’ couldn’t control him anymore.

In his last decades, he called out the hypocrisy and vultures. Iman helped there, I think. He was calling his own shots though once he broke free.

And left us Blackstar.

He was an incredible artist. While his younger years were in thrall, I think he broke loose eventually and resented the industry (and the cabal).
