So a LEAK REPORT is coming from the IG *before* he releases the FISAGate report?

If Gaetz is putting this out there now, it’s because he got permission.

Gatez: They’re not off the hook. Another Little nugget the IG is looking at is the corruption between the FBI and the media. We will be seeing it before we see the IG Report on how this fraudulent investigation got started.

Reminder: Horowitz isn’t just the Inspector General for the FBI; he’s the IG for the *entire* DOJ.

This report will look into ALL the leaking coming out of the DOJ, not just the FBI.

There have been, for over 2 years, NO leaks out of the DOJ IG’s office.

If this is getting out now, that there’s a separate leak report coming, it’s because they WANT that out there now.
Remember all those people claiming nothing was happening, nobody’s investigating the Flynn phone call leak to Ignatius?

For those asking , IG reports take months to prepare.

So no, this didn’t start when Nunes sent his referrals
Also, this is rolled out on a Saturday night when Gaetz is approached and told something.

Think of how many times you’ve seen him on TV in the last year.

Chances he doesn’t talk about it =0%
Again: Nunes made his 8 referrals a week ago.

Anybody who thinks the OIG is getting ready to announce it’s RESULTS from an investigation into those referrals after ONE WEEK has no idea what they are talking about.
This is what happens when people don’t know how anything works.

Anybody who’s telling you Nunes makes criminal referrals to the AG and then *the Inspector General* coughs up a completed investigative report like 2 weeks later is either lying to you or clueless.

I’m reading the comments to this thread and I have like 20 people asserting this all started like a week ago when Nunes made his referrals.

First of all, Nunes *didn’t make his referrals* to the DOJ IG, he mad them directly to Barr himself.

Anybody who’s watched IG investigations over the years - like I have - knows how long these things take.

This is people working backwards making assumptions when they don’t know how anything works and applying the cause/effect error.

Step 1) Nunes makes his referrals a week ago
Step 2) Sources say IG Horowitz has a report on leaks coming before the FISAGate report
Step 3) Assume Step 1 *caused* Step 2
Step 4) Horowitz’s investigation took less than a month
The cause/effect error is one of the simplest logic errors to make.

1) The streets are now wet.
2) It is raining
3) Wet streets make it rain.

Now, I realize there are a whole lot of people out there who are selling narratives nothing was happening for 2 years until Barr finally got there like 10 minutes ago, and THAT’S when everything kickstarted.

So they’re going to tell you Horowitz is ‘finally’ doing his job.

So these people will instantly leap to assume that Nunes making his referrals to AG Bill Barr suddenly *caused* news to surface that IG Horowitz is coming out with a leak report soon.

This is Horowitz trying to save face or something by rushing something out the door now.

Again, you can only buy that narrative *if* you don’t know how anything works.

You might also want to remember some of these people you are listening to have spent over a year telling you Horowitz & Huber are part of the COVERUP of the ‘do nothings’ inside the DOJ.

So the narrative they’re going to adopt now is that nothing was happening until Bill Barr dropped in there and all of a sudden Horowitiz & Huber are going to frantically rush stuff out of their offices to keep themselves from getting fired.

Except, of course, when many of these grand juries/prosecutions/indictments go public, it’s going to be revealed many of the grand juries were seated more than a year ago, they were seated by US Attorney’s working on Huber’s team, from referrals sent to them by Horowitz.
