One thought I’ve had is the following: What if FBI/DoJ were just going about their normal business with the dossier. What if they were just going to let him know, as they’ve done with all new presidents, that they have his testicles in an ironclad lockbox, and that he’s going to have to play ball, or else. Like supposedly there are pics of W Bush with a gay lover. So they were just running their normal game but all of a sudden they get a President who says “SCREW YOU” and fires the FBI director, and it’s all been one long scramble to back and fill ever since. Also consider the ever escalating hysteria.

Kit, have you done any digging on the prosecutors in that Raniere/Bronfman case? It just seems so odd to me that Bronfman got off so lightly.

I think we sometimes get lost in the translation of words or we at least don’t get the total concept. I look at the word ‘fear’ to mean ‘awe’ or ‘respect’.
