In the photograph of the stones I did not see any rope barricades around the site. When I first visited Stonehenge in 1978 you could walk up to the stones and stand next to them. There were some that bore spray painted graffiti. When I returned 20 years later, there was a designated path around the monument with rope barricades and park rangers protecting the site. No more graffiti.
It’s a shame they didn’t do the same for this site.
