In my eyes, that makes him the best of that bad bunch. Sadly, he is WAY too young (37), has only led a small city (South Bend, 300k), and only has parks and roundabouts as his main substantive accomplishments. He should focus on the Indiana Governor's mansion for a decade or so, and then give it a shot... AFTER he has dealt with taxes and bills and vetoes and a diverse range of rural and urban interests.
