Bored heckler peps up lame ‘An Evening with the Clintons’ event

Former President Bill Clinton and his wife, failed 2016 Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton, were reportedly heckled Thursday while speaking in New York City as part of their widely publicized but under-performing "An Evening with The Clintons" cross-country tour.

According to a new piece by New York Post columnist Maureen Callahan, who attended the gala, around "[n]ot quite halfway through the event, a man in the front row stood up and interrupted."

"'Bill, this is boring!' he yelled," she wrote. "As he tried asking his question — 'Why don't you talk about' — Hillary immediately began talking over him, saying that the 'important political conversations' they were trying to have could be difficult, especially when interrupted by such 'agent provocateurs.'"

In response to being smeared as an "agent provocateurs" — God forbid anyone heckles or disrespect the obnoxiously elitist Clintons — the man reportedly shouted, "Jeffrey Epstein!"

Ouch.

OH,,,, this is definitely what you call. EPIC! @PGHowie2💖 https://t.co/K4733ObicS

Bill used to (it's unclear if he still is) be close friends with billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who around a decade ago was convicted of soliciting an underage girl for prostitution.

While that was the only charge that the authorities were able to pin on the convicted pedophile, it's known for a fact that he used to use a jet to transport young girls to a piece of land he owned called "Orgy Island." Moreover, it's also known that Clinton sometimes flew on that same jet.

At Thursday's event, Callahan argued that the unnamed heckler's taunt was the only interesting thing that occurred all night. Save for that, the event had indeed been "boring."

What made it so boring, she maintained, was that the person who interviewed them on stage, their longtime buddy Paul Begata, lodged no challenging/interesting questions their way. Nor did the Clintons allow anyone in the audience to ask questions.

Instead the dull conversation centered on "about the good old days when [Bill] was president," on how the Clintons raised "such an amazing daughter" (plenty of people would disagree with that characterization of Chelsea) and the growing divide between liberal and conservative Americans.

"The greatest irony was the couple sitting on stage, in a tastefully bland setting reminiscent of an upscale doctor's waiting room, lamenting the widening divide between the two Americas while seated before a rapt audience of the converted — changing no minds, taking no questions from the crowd, brooking no chance that their narrative would be challenged, happy to keep looking in the rearview mirror while wondering what might have been," Callahan wrote.

For the Clintons, the event was, in many respects, just a self-serving celebration of themselves. Not to mention an opportunity for them to hold onto relevancy in a world where a majority of people, including those on their own political side, would prefer that they just disappear into the sunset.

But it was also an opportunity for both Bill and Hillary to acquire more of what appears to be their favorite thing in this life here on Earth: money. Not that they were slated to earn much.

The tour has been performing so poorly that the couple have been forced at times to peddle heavily discounted tickets for their shows on the coupon website Groupon.

"Bill and Hillary Clinton have been forced to resort to selling half price tickets for their 13-city tour on Groupon in a desperate bid to put bums on seats," the Daily Mail reported last December.

"The former president and first lady launched their tour in a Canadian hockey arena last Tuesday to an underwhelming crowd and swaths of empty seats. Ticket prices were plummeting shortly before the event, with the cheapest seats selling on Stubhub for single-digits – $6.55 Canadian Dollars, or less than $5. Now the couple are taking drastic action to avoid another embarrassment on the next stop on their An Evening With the Clintons tour."

How drastic? They cut ticket prices by 60 percent and began hawking them on Groupon:

Bill and Hillary Clinton resort to using Groupon to sell half-price tickets after their 13-stop paid speaking tour fails to draw the crowds.

One ticket was going for $6.55 in the final minutes before the Toronto event.

IF YOU WOULDN'T PAY $6.55 A TICKET RETWEET~

All the murder victims of the Clintons are coming back to haunt them

After shaking down people for decades by selling political influence, the Clintons are reduced to a tawdry roadshow that few are buying. I am enjoying my schadenfreude.

Bill showed up because he thought the attendees had purchased “Grope-on” tickets.

Now, Jeffrey Epstein’s travels with Bill is a WHOLE LOT LESS BORING! Pull out the slide show of their vacations!

Glad they brought in the ringer to spice up their show. Let’s get Juanita, Paula, and Kathleen, too!
