Wheew! What a relief. Bagster’s reply cleared it right up for me.
Actually, I thought you had lost your mind.
My first thought was that adolescent boys were fascinated by them back in the day.
Truckers alternately referred to them as seat covers.
I remember the day I first learned what a merkin was and the apparent need for them but I didn’t learn the sizing or what to look for in a good merkin.
Then “All hat, no cattle”.
Of course the furry animal that eats wood.
But whichever you were referring to, it seemed it was an exceedingly big one, thus my confusion.
So I scrolled on by, ‘cause I wasn’t going to touch that.
