The big difference being that the independent investigation into the source of the mysterious light that appeared to shoot up into the night sky on a time lapsed weather camera took place weeks BEFORE the brain trust at Q-anon got hold of it.
The scientists and photography experts discussed the anomalous image, chased down leads, called civil and military aviation in the area, and generally worked in concert to resolve the mystery. It took them less than 72 hours to fully understand and document what had happened.
Complete report Comprehensive analysis of the Whidbey Island 'missile'
The drama around this event didn't start until weeks later when some internet joker posted the image and "hinted" it was a missile aimed at AF1. No evidence was ever presented by the "Q team" to support this nonsensical claim, no follow up has been done by them to identify who launched this missile, and outside a couple of weeks of wildly inaccurate rumor and speculation the incident was never mentioned again.
So to correct you analogy, its the original investigation that determined the image was created by a passing helicopter which is analogous to the Shroud of Turin and folks like you who are the 'autofellatory atheists' tasked with trying to debunk it.
Yawns.

And here is your alleged "helicopter" Let's see if you can figure out what's missing from your alleged rotor aircraft picture. Could it be maybe the rotor? LOL
Just stop you are embarrassing yourself
