I would agree if this were a 65/35 country with our side on top, but, at best it’s 52/48.
If we had the higher number than 52%, then yes, we could be ‘nice’ and give the other side a few more percent, but it is NOT the case today. We have our FREEDOM on a shoe-string, and if we do something dumb, and give them control, IT IS OVER for us, barring a civil war - and sorry for you gun nuts, I prefer to NOT have another civil war in this country. I simply want to DEFEAT Democrats politically and I will FIGHT ANYONE who wants to make it easier for those animals (scripture or not).

Thanks, but try to understand my other point too. We are a 52/48 Republican country (at best). We literally have NO ROOM to enable our enemies, even if we want to be kind and generous. We are dealing with the country we leave to our kids and grand kids. We know that felons, by a huge majority, will be against us...and could EASILY tip the scales into making this country a HORRIFIC PLACE - since all that is needed is a decade of Democrat control here.
So why do ANYTHING that advances their cause? That is my point here, and trust me, I don’t like blasting fellow FReepers, other than during the Primaries or Toll Roads (my only 2 exceptions) - and this is not one of those cases.
