He could always appoint lawyers willing to do It pro-bono. That would also limit the conflict of interest concern regarding payments.
I’m sure there are some out there that would like to be able to say they helped this administration.
sessions hired about 50 in 2017. Retirements made it a net increase of 13.
He hired 44 in 2018. Congress approved funding for 484 judges in 2018
As of 02/2019 we currently have approx. 400 judges.
I haven’t seen where any have been hired in 2019.
