In the US most Italian immigrants not only became citizens nut fully accepted the political, cultural, and social traditions of their new country while keeping many of their own and adding them to the Amrrican experience. Unfortunately they did exactly the same in Argentina. Thrre are few if any Hispanic countries where democracy and Liberty took root. This Pope is a profuct of Peron, a caudillo, a fsscist populist socialist. This Pope absorbed every grievance Latin America holds against the People of the North. Argentinians especially believe we and Europe robbed them of their greatness. In 1910 Argentina was one of the most prosperous nations on Earth. They self destructed on their own but blame us. That is where Bergoglio comes from. That is who he is.
