Pope Francis blamed Europe and the United States for the deaths of children in Syria, Yemen and Afghanistan, saying Saturday that wealthy Western countries fuel conflicts by selling weapons in war zones.

Speaking to students and teachers of Milan’s San Carlo Institute, Francis said the reason there are so many wars around the world is “the rich Europe and America sell weapons … used to kill children and kill people.”

Without such firepower, the pope added, there wouldn’t have been war in countries such as Afghanistan, Yemen and Syria. .

“A country that produces and sells weapons has on its conscience the death of every child and the destruction of each family,” Francis said. …

It’s my belief Francis by his social engineering pontificating and attempts to equalize Islamic mono theistic claims of honoring the same deity as Jews and Christians is only encouraging the continuing attacks and murders of African and Asian Catholics as well as attacks elsewhere. Including Russia, France, even California and destruction of churches by Islamic followers. This Pope by his continuing doing so such as decrying the sale of arms which Christian’s could use to defend themselves or warn the faithful not to proselytize or be “fundamental” to discourage such beliefs .Allows those comments to be used by Islamists because they appear to support Islam’s mono theistic claims along with Francis refusal to condemn the theological Islamic claims msde when Islamist’s commit these atrocities .

Oh yes it’s the weapons. They just jump into the hands of the people using them and start killing children. Every time I walk past my kalishnikov it jumps into my hands and I have to force it back in the closet before any kids come by. The pope is a Marxist ass.

As Reagan might say at the Vatican, “Mr Pope, Tear down this wall!”

“A country that produces and sells weapons has on its conscience the death of every child and the destruction of each family,”

I would think that liability would accrue to the people who USE those weapons indiscriminately.

And by the way, just about every nation on earth produces weapons of some sort, even if it's just pointed sticks.

Don’t know how big of a miss it was, if pointing out pontifical “pure Marxism” nine months after the Papal election got the media riled up; NBC said that Rush “frothed that the new pope is a Marxist”, in their typical Alinskyite style. (The “who am I to judge” comment was in July of ’13, four months after Francis was elected.) Not easy to investigate into the Vatican very deeply.

“Yes. Interesting, that. But the Pope is propagandizing, not stating facts.”

As Charlie Garrett, a minister in Sarasota, Fl. calls the pope, “Dope Francis”. All I can say is that the pope and AOC should get together and compare notes....neither one has their facts correct and they just make them up as they go alone.

Hi.

Prophecy says the last Pope will be number 266.

Pope Francis is number 265.

I hope the Church will not experience schism before then.

This pope is not a man of God. He is too embedded in politics to remember that he is supposed to be about the work of the Lord.
