NXIVM digging
One item that has disappeared (for now?) is former NY AG Schneidermann began an investigation into the NXIVM cult and some of their activities and members.
I’m pretty sure it was going to be covered up by Schneidermann, but we’ll never know since he resigned for beating, strangling and raping women before it was concluded.
One case he ‘suspended’ due to an ongoing Federal investigation was into one Dr. Brandon Porter, and internal medicine specialist.
Dr. Porter was accused by former NXIVM members of conducting illegal human experiments. Specifically, he was conducting “fright experiments” on women. Showing unsuspecting ‘patients’ violent videos and then recording their reactions.

Now, Schneidermann had numerous opportunities to investigate the cult and always found a reason not to. The audience may discern whatever motivation drove that.
Their operation was in Clifton Park, NY. They bought a old Italian restaurant on Route 9 next to Fred the butcher. About once a month they would hold large meetings there, supposedly “self help” type. An Albany attorney represented the Bronfman sisters, who I believe were heirs to the Seagram estate.
Thanks for the memories and more details. It is very likely Schneiderman was involved in NXIVM himself; if not, he had enough criminal baggage to not want to expose others with similar crimes.
Im thinking that the members of that board might be in need of scrutiny.
