My very first WTF moment regarding this more-than-macabre stuff was reading about a time Culkin was talking to some movie exec who coyly revealed or claimed the shoes he was wearing were made from a child’s skin and also saying the skin came from child actress Heather O’Rourke. I think Culkin sad he thought this revelation was a means to control him.
Some things are so bizarre they go beyond being made up out of thin air. Anyway... Heather O’Rourke was the little girl on E.T., and according to some sources (mainly CDAN) Steven Spielberg had a weird Jones going on with O’Rourke. What happened to Heather is still out there on the net. I’m not diggig it up. It’s sick.

I've read a lot of his tweets and couldn't decide if he was being serious or facetious...making fun of people who believe there are evil pedophile rings operating in this country. He was a very prolific tweeter during the Oscars. The quote you posted is from a radio interview and I now think he's being pretty forthright.
I think back to his late teen and early twenty years. He went from being a really cute, funny kid to looking like an absolute stoned out freak. If he was dealing with recovering from this lifestyle and abuse, I can understand why.
