Signs for illegals crossing the southern border are written in Chinese.

https://saraacarter.com/rhetoric-castro-and-beto-compare-trump-policies-to-nazi-third-reich/

Julian Castro defended and backed 2020 candidate Robert “Beto” Francis O’Rourke’s comparison of the Trump administration with Nazi Germany. It’s dangerous and ridiculous rhetoric.

This appears, however, to be a new Democratic talking point. Castro, O’Rourke and other wildly left leaning Democrats argue that Trump’s statements on illegal aliens ‘dehumanize’ those attempting to break U.S. laws to enter the country.

What world do we live in? If the Trump administration’s attempts to solve a decades long crisis at the roughly 2,000 mile southern border with Mexico is a ‘Third Reich’ policy, then every sovereign nation on earth with borders is guilty of the same ridiculous and insulting accusation.

For example, O’Rourke said if he could he would tear down the wall between El Paso and Juarez. Sure, I’m certain that would go over well with the majority of citizens in El Paso.

‘Third Reich’
Then on Thursday O’Rourke went further, he compared the Trump administration’s policies regarding illegal immigrants to the Third Reich.

Castro didn’t waste anytime jumping on the bandwagon telling MSNBC that he agreed with O’Rourke.

“What the president is trying to do is to dehumanize, to otherize these immigrants,” said Castro, creating a new word “otherize” as he spouted the anti-Trump rhetoric.

“And that’s very similar, whether it’s to what Congressman O’Rourke was talking about or other regimes that try and dehumanize people,” said Castro. “And I believe that we are better than that.”

Here’s where Castro inserted his ‘Third Reich’ inflammatory statements about Trump.

“I think one of the things that [the Third Reich] did was to dehumanize people,” he said. “There have been other regimes that also dehumanized people.

Of course, Trump’s not a Nazi and neither are his administration’s policies.

These Democrats don’t argue the facts presented by the White House that statistically show that there is a crisis. If they did, they would fail to make a cohesive winning argument. They know this so they rely on emotional arguments.

Here’s some facts:
In February, the number of illegal border crossers exceeded 75,000 and it’s only getting worse. For every one that is apprehended, three to four more get away, according to DHS officials.

This month alone, more than 100,000 illegal immigrants are expected to cross the US border into Texas (just Texas). DHS officials say it is threatening to overwhelm their already strained facilities and resources. It’s the biggest monthly total in more than a decade, according to the DHS.

Even former Obama DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson told MSNBC last week that his staff would concur that if “it was under 1,000 apprehensions the day before that was a relatively good number, and if it was above 1,000 it was a relatively bad number, and I was gonna be in a bad mood the whole day.”

“On Tuesday, there were 4,000 apprehensions,” he said. “I know that a thousand overwhelms the system. I cannot begin to imagine what 4,000 a day looks like, so we are truly in a crisis.”

Castro and O’Rourke: ‘Ignore the Facts’
Castro and O’Rourke ignore these facts. Instead they rely on media friendly platforms to perpetuate lies and engage in a disinformation and propaganda campaign against Trump.

The Democrats are waging an emotional, non-sensical war against the Trump campaign because frankly, that’s all they have in their arsenal. They are just hoping people are dumb enough or ideologically motivated (despite the facts) to believe what they are saying.

Their comparison of President Trump to one of the most evil brutal dictators in world history is stunning. It is an insult to the tens of millions of people and their families who were slaughtered by Hitler’s regime.

I don’t believe the majority of Americans will buy into their rhetoric. The truth far exceeds the lies and all one has to do is look at the facts.

Castro says he believes Trump can be defeated in 2020.

It’s a pipe dream if Castro and other Democrats – who appear to have no platform for their party – believe that their emotional campaigning against the President will give the tools necessary to defeat a sitting president.

Hispanic Support For Trump
Current polls show that Hispanic support for Trump is now at 50 percent. One reason is that economy is booming and small businesses are flourishing and the border crisis is a concern for Latino communities as well.

Moreover, Democrats aren’t doing themselves any favors by making their platform about hating Trump. Americans are sick of it.

It’s even worse when these politicians speak to the public as if the border crisis is something completely concocted by the Trump administration when, in reality, the facts don’t support that.

Trump is telling it like it is. It’s not always what people want to hear but Trump’s job is first and foremost to protect our nation.

Make no mistake, the border crisis is a real national security and humanitarian issue. Local and federal law enforcement officials, DHS officials, people in the communities along the border, as well as those being trafficked into the United States, are telling it like it is and are not participating in some wide conspiracy to keep Latinos out of America.

Reality trump’s rhetoric.

It’s time more sensible Democrats find common ground, dump the rhetoric and do their job. We need to work together to find common solutions for our nation.

Trump made a promise to Americans to fix the border when he was elected. Congress made the same promises to their constituents.

Democrats like Castro and O’Rourke are just white noise and in the end, they will be on the wrong side of history – not just spouting baseless rhetoric.

I had no idea about the Ignatius’ role in bringing down Gen Flynn. But given that it was a second contact from a US paper on the same day, I was very suspicious. My partner issued a statement on my behalf which is a flat denial of any inappropriate relationships with Gen Flynn (9
Ignatius responded he understood. And nothing was published, because as he told me later, he interviewed witnesses at the ‘Flynn dinner’ and found nothing (10).
WSJ published their lies, followed by the Lying Luke from the Guardian. I contacted Ignatius to ask if he is planning to publish anything, and he said no as there is nothing and that if anyone else contacted me, to say he investigated and found nothing (11)
Roll forward May 2018, and Halper is exposed as FBI operative. Ignatius writes ‘I’d like very much to ask you about Halper’. We spoke, & I caught him off-guard with a direct question: did he know he was a spy? To which he said ‘I always found him very reliable’, then hung up(12)
Next thing I know Tom Hamburger to Cambridge on a tidy up mission. WaPo must have a big budget to keep flying reporters across the pond to go after Gen Flynn and protect Stef Halper! (13)
Hamburger tries to interrogate me AGAIN over the Flynn dinner. I refer him to Ignatius. Then he tries the Kremlin penetration of the Cambridge Seminar line. I read him out Halper resignation email proving that Halper did not tell the truth (14)
We row for days. I tell him he is about to publish smears and untruths. He claims he has spoken to Richard Dearlove but later admitted it was ‘sources close to’ Dearlove, not Dearlove himself (15)
I told Hamburger (&have it time-stamped): ‘You reveal you have not had contact with Dearlove. So if the principals in the story have not confirmed their knowledge/statements personally, then the journalists do not have evidence, but only hearsay, and this should be stressed. (16
I also told Hamburger that Halper’s false allegation about Russian intelligence penetration of the Cambridge seminar has been investigated by outside Counsel and found ‘no case to answer’. I said ‘If anything, FBI (Halper), not SVR “penetrated” the Seminar.’ (17)
I also confirmed that Gen Flynn DIA liaison Dan O’Brien had been on the record with WaPo to confirm he left 2014 dinner with Flynn and nothing happened. Now let’s turn to what Hamburger wrote (18)
‘During a dinner Flynn attended, Halper and Dearlove were disconcerted by the attention the then-DIA chief showed to a Russian-born graduate student who regularly attended the seminars, according to people familiar with the episode.’ (19)
No mention of the fact that his colleague Ignatius interviewed everyone at dinner a year before, and there were no concerns. Interesting... (20)
So in turd-polishing 6 page article of May 2018, WaPo suppressed vital information: Halper has history of not being truthful. He did not tell the truth about his resignation, made up stories of Kremlin penetration, Gen Flynn and I etc (21)
I’ve previously made numerous complaints to the WaPo and have been ignored. So now I call on the @washingtonpost to retract the story by Tom Hamburger and print everything they know about the #Russiagate hoax. (22)
Separately, there has to be a public inquiry into the alarming links between WaPo reporters and those with access to Classified Information. (23). THE END
