The US Postal Inspectors, not the FBI, would have primary investigation jurisdiction in this matter.

Good. Let the crooks and racists in Shicago ape out as usual.
But I do hope federal charges will be filed.

If Mueller wants, I hope he investigates THIS actual COLLUSION
To: Signalman
Investigation over. He used the US mail to send white powder and said it was from Trump supporters. His damned DNA is all over it. What is there to investigate?
To: Signalman
The USPS is not the least bit amused. Im reasonably confident theyll file charges.

Yup!
And trust me, they do not take white powder being sent through the mail as a minor offense!

Well, we know the FBI has been politically weaponized. Expect disappointment there. High level Dems will pull strings with high level FBI and the case will fade.

That is my belief as well. But I will say jessy is not doing himself any favors by going out and making a public scene that he has been cleared which proves he was telling the truth.

So I’m puzzled by jurisdiction in this matter. How does the Illinois State Attorney have jurisdiction over a crime committed in the City of Chicago? I get the USPS crime jurisdiction but not the State taking over a local crime.

Mayor Rahm Emmanuel of all people says the prosecutors decision in Chicago is a:
“whitewash of justice”
That tells something.

“States Attorney” in Illinois is the equivalent to “County Attorney” in other states, i.e. the elected chief prosecutor for the county, in this case the s-hole known as Cook County. Because it’s so big she’s got a staff of over 1000 but she’s still the one who decides what gets prosecuted and what doesn’t.
Let’s wait and see how this unfolds. Clearly she had the legal ability to do what she did but it stinks so badly there may be good motivation to dig deeply into possible reasons why she did it. Catching her taking a bribe or some quid-pro-quo would be delightful.

FBI Civil rights investigation? The big one is if they are investigating links between this hoax crime, and Harris or other Obamamunists.

Another poster said what it reveals is that someone left Rahm and the Chief of Police out of the bribery loop.

There are no city courts, except for municipal code violations and stuff like that. All the major felonies and misdemeanors are covered by state law, and prosecuted in state courts. City cops might arrest you, but you go to the county courthouse and get indicted by the state’s attorney.
To: Califreak
The guy on Rush today, said Rahm and the Chief are first and foremost, politicians. They’re both in on it, and showing artificial disgust. All just another episode of Empire, it seems.
