The biggest school admissions scandal ever prosecuted began with a tip from an executive investigators were targeting in an unrelated securities fraud probe, it was revealed today. The unnamed businessman told Boston authorities chasing down the market manipulation scheme that Rudy Meredith, the women’s soccer coach at Yale University, said he would designated the executive’s daughter as a recruit in exchange for cash, the official said. The official was not authorized to discuss the case and spoke on the condition of anonymity.

Congratulations FBI. You would think they could learn from this: You start with a crime, then you catch who did it!

You don't start with a suspect, and then search for several years to try to find a crime. Our constitution doesn't allow that, and it makes citizens think you are corrupt. Rather, citizens see this, and KNOW you are corrupt.

Grammar is not taught in public schools.

Exactly. Here is how a "journalist" would phrase your sentence.

Not being taught, persons who (as part of their schooling), grammar in that form, according to officials who spoke on a condition of anonymity, or at all.

Meanwhile government corruption, federal, state, local runs amok nationwide and the Feebs are blind to it.

That's if we're lucky... based on the revelation of the last three years, they are often out there abetting it.

This is just a cover story to divert from the thought that the federal bureau of investigating republicans and exonerating democrats discovered this by monitoring phone calls, emails, and bank activity.

The FBI as an institution which just yesterday took a massive additional hit to its reputation when it was revealed that they had information from an informant that was exculpatory on behalf of of page and Papadopoulos. It was further revealed that the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation stated, contrary to the testimony of Peter Strozk, that it was the Department of Justice, not the FBI as Director Comey stated, that had determined that no charges would be brought against Hillary Clinton for violation of the Securities Act based on gross negligence.

Now another institution, academia, has sustained a massive hit to its reputation ironically delivered by the FBI whose reputation stands in tatters.

The larger question for us conservatives is, are there any institutions left which we and the nation can trust, especially in a time of national crisis?

I know of none apart from, perhaps, the military. Even there the Left is doing its best to undermine the core ethos of the military by treating it as a Skinner box for its social experimentation resulting in the neutering of our martial arm.

What sensitive American can trust either political party? We conservatives know damn well that the party of Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney are nearly as perfidious as the Democratic Party.

Can we trust our courts, can we placed real faith in the rule of law? We have seen that the Supreme Court has been rewriting the Constitution for decades to the point that it scarcely resembles the original product.

What about our financial institutions? Our banks and our financial centers in Wall Street are really multinational institutions with scarce patriotic identity with the United States. We have seen in the last crash and 2008 the that not only are the banks duplicitous but they were incompetent. We have seen how eager they were to render Hillary Clinton her payola.

What about our eleemosynary institutions? The Ford foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation and virtually all left-wing think tanks have slipped under the control of the left.

Our churches? The Catholic Church is tearing itself apart and its Pope has abandoned traditional Christianity for some form of liberation theology while the rank-and-file are regarded as a cast of pederasts. The evangelical movement is constantly under attack and seems to be inconsistent in its application of dogma to politics. The establishment Protestant church is hardly a church in anything but name. Therefore it is not idle to ask:

Whom do you trust if there is a black Swan event?

“Mark Riddell - Riddell is the director of IMG Academy , a college entrance exam preparation company. “

Could the author of this piece be a bigger idiot? IMG ACADEMY is a SPORTS ACADEMY. Riddell was their SAT PREP COORDINATOR for the Academy.

That’s not “stumble upon.”

I doubt this prosecution would have happened under a bammy administration. Hollywood is full of his admirers.

I swear, so many journalists today write like they were sending a drunken text.

Why should we think they're not?

Rather than "if" we should ask "when", because whether from within or from without, one will come.

Indeed.....
.....in a nutshell, many of us watch the Hallmark Channel to escape for a while to a place with values and morals, the wholesome movies and When Calls the Heart series

....AND because we have avidly and sincerely listened for over two years how betrayed we have been by the FBI, Justice Dept.....And so on we are patiently waiting for justice.......for Hillary, Obama, and ALL the others....
...and just when we think we’re close

We get Lori Laughlin in handcufffs and potential jail

FRUSTRATED!!!!!!

We must be about the same age. I remember diagramming in the sixth grade, too. 1955

I also remember the nun running up and down the aisle, sprinkling us with Holy Water....to drive the devil out. :-)

She was a darn good teacher though.

Someone tell the writer about sentence structure, how commas properly separate clauses, and the concept of Object-Verb. I swear, so many journalists today write like they were sending a drunken text.

Maybe their parents bribed the University of Journalism to get them in as athletes.

Still think someone a year ago in that sting of cheating among NCAA coaches put a bug in their ear. It just aligns too closely. Surely some coach had discussions with other coaches on the admittance practices and used that for leverage in sentencing.

Or at least this is the FBI’s story and they are sticking to it.

I am not convinced that this isn’t a case of them shouting “SQUIRREL!” Give the public something shiny to look at as the worst sewage of their anti-Trump activities is rising to the surface.

READER'S COMMENT from the article: "This story kind of makes me wonder what the selling price for grades is at Yale. Once these kids are in school they have to pass some of their classes. Lots of companies are now wondering what a degree from an 'elite' school is really worth."
