The top graph is some version of total solar irradiation above the atmosphere expressed in watts per square meter. Historically, this averages around 1365 watts per square meter, but like many measurements surrounding climate “science”, we keep changing the way we calculate and measure it.

The next graph is “Sunspot Number”, which is a roughly calculated count of sunspots, where sunspot groups are counted as 10, then added to the individual sunspot count.
