A question that needs to be repeatedly asked of Ilhan, & other Muslim leaders in the West, is, “What do you believe should be the penalty for apostasy from Islam?”

ALL schools of Islamic Law agree, the penalty should be DEATH. For a Muslim to be a good Muslim, they are supposed to agree.

First...you need to understand that Muslims can AND ARE EXPECTED to lie for the advancement of Islam, including about what Islam is and what it stands for.

Once you understand this, You understand that ANY questions you ask, AND ANY questions they should answer are meaningless.

You're trying to ask a "Gotcha" question.

The very fact that you're asking, proves THEY have GOTCHA.
