I have 2 rl with skin on Q friends who have discussed doing a public Q meet up once. The problem right at this moment is we don’t feel safe outing ourselves.

I will suggest St. Louis or Chicago. While I prefer St. Louis, Chicago might be a better choice. That’s due to it being a transportation hub - lots of direct flights.
In addition, there is a hotel practically at the airport where it would be easy to get a conference room. Still, it’s not a red state.
