I like the Chris Isaak version slightly better but that is just because his take was so real, like how dare you make me want you so much, I’m falling in love and I don’t want this.... I just love that take. Hers is less spooky, less “you put a spell on me.”

Excellent. Every time I hear someone attempt that song I point out this is the ultimate test. She nails it. Even Chris Isaak the other nite does a measured approach.

Would love to have heard Roy Orbison, who I believe collaborated with Chris , on presentation of the song , sing it.

Among the current singers I think Jerimiah has the range, tonal quality to pull it off.

Probably never see that happen as another contestant has “ branded” it for this season

I developed such a crush on her. Siobhan’s album, Moonbaby, or some such, didn’t work for me and nothing else she’s done approached Wicked Dream. But that was worth the T-shirt. LOL
