You are not supposed to analyze the plan you are just supposed to implement it because they say so. If you don’t you are put on the list. And that is the key...free market solutions. Here in California it is now mandated that all new home construction have solar. That adds at least $50K to a home. Okay...Solar is fine...not the best power generator around, but it works...at a price.
But the top down solutions are a boot on the neck. If there are answers to solve our problems, the market place will decide whether or not the solutions are viable. People will line up to throw their money at a solution if they see a cost benefit in the long run. Currently, I see no postive cost benefit to any of the proposed solutions being bandied about by this Green New Deal.....Might as well call it the New Red Deal...
You’re on target with your post. Back in the 1990s, I considered buying a 20 acre plot near Napa Valley. I discovered that I could only build four houses on that property. Each house needed a minimum of five acres.

You touch on a fundamental difference between the left and right. The right just wants to be left alone, with out constitutional rights.

I have two points to make, one about the Left the other about climate change.
1) Mass death in their minds is a good thing. They started out by labeling us as “useless eaters”, then came “deplorables”. We, the residents of flyover country, are now somewhat less than human in the minds of those who will do the killing. Look at the propaganda of WWI and WWII portraying our opponents as baby killers and Nazi propaganda portraying Jews as hook nosed crooks and spies busy destroying the economy of the Thousand Year Reich.
2) The cause of the mindset that buys into “Climate Change”, or global warming the same mindset that is imperious to all logical augments was created by The Weather Channel. I know this because my crazy aunt in Delaware watches the Weather Channel 24/7. She sees that Tenn. might get 4 inches of snow and, according to the Weather Channel, if some fluke type conditions were to occur in Kentucky in conjunction with the Tenn. snow, Kentucky will experience a Little Ice Age. You can try to explain to her that the demonic Weather Channel hypes the weather in order to keep or bring in more viewers to increase their revenue, you can explain to her that in order to stay in business the Weather Channel must bump up the fear factor a couple of notches, otherwise who would watch? My aunt, God Bless her, will disregard all augments and proceed to call all of our relatives and tell them to rush to Krogers and buy all the food, water, and toilet paper NOW! My family defends themselves by using caller ID, we figure we have enuff crazy in Ky. without importing any from Delaware. Who does my crazy aunt remind you of? The true believers of “global warming”, the SJW types who believe things that did not happen, the students with their safe spaces and triggers, the dims who now no longer believe that killing a born child is murder? It would not surprise me to find that Soros backs the Weather Channel, and maybe even Satan. The sky is always falling to these people, the end is always very near, and anyone who doesn’t agree is an enemy and a fool. This is Weather Channel Derangement. If you don’t believe me I don’t care because I am morally right.
One last proof, find out the year the Weather Channel first aired and the year of birth of our last 2 retarded generations, I will bet they closely match.
The nutjob billionaire Tom Steyer has said just that....he is hoping for a nuclear war because it would put an end to Donald Trump. Steyer actually believes that and hopes for such a war.

Eliminating just a fraction of the world’s population would radically change the world economy and eliminate a portion of our lifestyle. What amount of our lifestyle that gets eliminated depends on how many are no longer participating (dead) in the world’s economy. Cheap shoes, clothing, cell phones, TV’s, gasoline, oil, Liquid Natural Gas, food, cars...all depend on having a market and in having a supply chain. A disruption anywhere in the supply or manufacturing would have a cascading effect that would impact everything we hold dear, like eating. Civilization as we know it, with just 500 million, would be impossible.
