We do better strapping a tracker to Congress’ legs.

So the goobermint is going to require all chickens in supermarkets to still have their faces attached so the required goobermint $75 GPS tracker can verify the identity of your $80 chicken dinner.
I prefer my KFC chicken dinners not to be staring at me when I open the book thank you.

I think something like this was in the first season of Portlandia. A couple left their table at a restaurant because they wanted to go see the farm where their chicken would come from. Seemed ludicrous at the time but like so many other ludicrous things that were on TV first, it is now our reality.

Why would this emerge in China?
Cuz Sooooooo much food there is counterfeit.
Yes, in many cases in China, the food is NOT food:
Beer, eggs and many others are synthesized with cheaper materials to fool the unwitting customer.
The only catch?
After some famous poisonings people start catching on. Then the fakers’ jobs are harder and they must up their game.
Where is Euro baby milk most lucrative?
In CHINA, cuz no Chinese person in their right mind entrusts their child’s life to another Chinese person.

I had a Squadron Commander whose famous phrase for every screw-up was,
Howd you like to be out there picking shit with the chickens!
At least now, we could find them.

Here's a picture of that organic chicken that you had at that Chinese restaurant. Be sure to run facial recognition software on it.

The power of totalitarians.
Now you know why the country uses those “social credits”. Their human movements are being substituted for chicken ones to make it look like the critters are free range.

My wife will be mighty pissed when she sees the chicken in that frying pan was sneaking out behind the barn for smokes with the girls. So much for Free Range. She’ll slap those little bastards back into their little cages faster than you can say Cock-a-doodle-parmesan.

The sensors upload information, such as how much exercise each chicken gets and what it ate. They are also working on facial-recognition technology so that consumers can one day make sure the organic chicken they saw on the farm is the same one that ends up on their plate.
So now they are going to butcher the chicken and leave the head so you can know it is your chicken?
When I was in Africa, the feet were left on so you knew at least WHAT it was.
