Anybody else getting a weird feeling about all these plane crashes today?
Amazon cargo plane near Houston and two others, one near Boston and one near Winter Haven, Fl.
Saw that all Southwest flights grounded nationwide on Friday
due to technical issues?

Yes. I always wonder who and what was on a plane that crashes these days. I think I saw that South West had a mechanics union strike, and so they had to ground some of the flights - Inspection/repair etc.

Sometimes I really miss when all I thought was “Damn, that’s awful!”
But then I would still be asleep so....
I used to get the FAA incident reports emailed to me daily.
There are several “crashes” every day
Many occur on the ground an aircraft with a catering truck, a deer on the runway etc.
But considering there are as amny 50,000 to 80,000 flight crossing the US daily, that there so few incidents is why air travel is considered one of the safest modes of transportation.
