We don’t know that he’s in a cell. He could be sitting in someone’s office for all we know. Getting served a nice brekkie and waited on hand and foot.
Since this little fiasco got started there have been over 200 shootings and over 50 murders in the City of Chicago, almost none of them have been solved. This clown Smollet wasted thousands of hours of police work and likely over $1,000,000 in resources.
Trust me, the Chicago PD is not amused. Look for the Cook County Prosecutor to drop a hammer on him and demand some prison time. Then there’s the small matter of the US Postal Service wanting their pound of flesh.
His little stunt with the US Mail is a very, very serious matter. Once Cook County is done with him the Postal Service, which has its own Enforcement powers including arrests, is gonna come down on him like a ton of bricks.
Smollet is done. Stick a fork in him. His career is over. He won’t be showing up on that stupid TV show for quite some time.
