The first book of the series is pretty much a stand alone. Flynn was amazing and I used to buy his books on day one of availability and read them cover to cover typically in just 2 nights.
I refuse to read the books written by others using his name since his death in 2013.

I actually tried to read a Kyle Mills ( Vince Flynn wannabe) book, but couldn’t get through it!
So I’m going to start over again with Flynn’s books and also Daniel Silva
