My biggest takeaway from the X22 reports was that the banksters set things up to crash, leaving the average schmo (you and me) holding the bag. They cover up by creating “events” - like wars or other things we’re not allowed to discuss on FR.

POTUS is rapidly doing a lot to help USA to survive and still be major player. My advice is GET OUT OF DEBT!!!! Especially your mortgage. Some things to consider(Rhetorical Questions)...
After getting your spiritual life in order, preparing for emergencies of weather or SHTF-Clean air, Shelter, Water, Food, Medicine, Guns, Ammo, RESUPPLY OPTIONS.
Shelter Top of the list after AIR-If you haven’t paid off your mortgage, is your savings account at the same financial institution as your mortgage? Could automatic payments be set up? Would such payments be subject to cash withdrawal limits? Do you have at least 6-12 months of mortgage payments in that account?
Should you consider having Master Card with another bank, in case you can’t pay it, so they can’t just take it out of the money you planned on paying the mortgage with?
In Europe, during the last crisis. Banks limited the amount of money depositors could take out. Deposit accounts, took a haircut/negative interest rates-what if about 10% or more of your money was taken by negative interest rates?
Should a person KEEP SOME CASH in a fireproof safe instead of the account? What if we get huge inflation, like we had in 70s or worse?
Should a person buy at least 6 months or 1 years worth of food for the pantry? STOCK UP WHEN your usual foods are on SALE. Grand Solar Minimum means more crop failures than usual. Can you grow your own food and preserve it?
What will happen when the debt bubble bursts? DEFLATION likely. Gold price will likely go down at first, but then will rise as the past decade of printing of the money reaps what has been sown.
Inflation has basically eaten up 95% of the dollar. Has the price of gold ever been $0? If the coins melt, are they not still gold which can be assayed and sold?
Why do many financial consultants advise to keep 10-20% in precious metals? Why did some people who lived through the great depression, begin to hide silver dollars under the floor boards of their houses even though times were better?
Why have Central Banks and various countries been buying more Gold than usual? Which states have implemented procedures to make using gold or silver coins easier? Why are they doing that?
If Congress needs more money what’s the biggest pool of wealth sitting around today? Retirement Savings? Would they figure a way to give those a “haircut”.
Is the stock market at all time highs? What is the value of the stock price to earnings? What is the stock price compared to book value? What is the short and long term debt of the company? Should you buy stock at a high price, or wait till the crash happens and then buy?
In 2007, I had a couple of thousand dollars that I had unexpectedly received. I went looking for a stock to buy. Not one single stock had a decent Price/Earnings ratio. The market was totally over valued. So I did not buy any. Instead I sold half of all the stocks and funds that I owned in Dec. 2007. Just taking some chips off the table.
In October 2008, I was buying stocks at bargain prices. When those had doubled in value, I sold half of what I had purchased-that returned my original stake. Also, when gas prices spiked up, over about a month, I stocked up on groceries.
For example, I bought an 18 month supply of peanut butter at less than a dollar per jar. A few months later, and that price was at $1.70. I ran across a sale of the large size coffee at 50%. So I bought 4 cases. Coffee is at the top of my list for SHTF. YMMV
We have several methods for cooking, including sterno stoves, coleman stoves, charcoal grills, campfire/wood, and rocket stove. We have used the sterno and rocket stove the most, when the electricity is off. Quickest and easiest to use for coffee or a quick one-pot meal.
It’s impossible to say what everyone should do. Everyone has to look at their own situation. Just ask yourself, how could I survive, if we were living in the 1800s?
I’ll bet you can think of lots of ways to do stuff without modern conveniences. Don’t expect to get there overnight, but do approach the issue with a determined stride, and not a stroll along the beach.
